Welcome to the 2026 Sail Freight Season!

This is our fourth year shipping cider with Schooner Apollonia, America’s only domestically-operating freight sailboat, which has been moving cargo up and down the Hudson River with carbon-neutral shipping since 2020. Inspired by CSAs but with a sail freight twist, each Schooner Apollonia Cider Box contains seasonal and sometimes even exclusive ciders delivered to ports by wind-powered sailboat and solar-powered cargo bike. We are all about reducing fossil fuel use and carbon emissions!

This year we’re doing an a la cart model to give you as much flexibility to get the cider and wine of your choice. For each run, simply add the box to your cart, add any extra bottles at your 10% discount, checkout, and wait to pickup at your port of choice.

Each box includes a curated selection of three bottles from Greenpoint Cidery, including classic favorites, limited seasonal releases, and experimental ciders, plus a zine talking about the ciders, and a botanical clipping from the farm. Boxes will cost approximately $65-70, which includes tax and a small fee to support Schooner Apollonia. Bottles in the Box are set at 10% discount on the normal website price, plus you get a 10% discount code to use on other bottles you want to add to your wind-shipped order.

The multi-pack model allows me to delve deeper into exploring and foraging for local fruits, herbs and flowers to add to my ciders and wines, while also allowing you to support carbon-neutral shipping along the Hudson River.
